In 2025, I was invited to give a public lecture titled Podcasting: A Catalyst for Progressive Queer Narratives at the Qinfolk Festival, supported by Goethe-Institut.
To be honest, my first instinct was to say no but this was deep into my “saying yes” era—and so I said yes and stepped into the room.
I wanted the session to feel accessible and practical, especially for people who might think podcasting is intimidating or out of reach. My goal was simple: to make podcasting feel possible.
So I walked participants through the entire podcasting value chain, using a selection of AI tools and real, practical examples—from ideation and scripting to production, editing, and distribution. No gatekeeping. No mystique. Just tools, process, and possibility.
And honestly? I had so much fun.
Below are my notes from the public lecture.
