What if the year was 2057? What stories would survive, and whose would be lost?
Set entirely in a speculative future, this interactive workshop invites participants to step into the role of citizens, artists, and memory keepers living in 2057, reflecting on the choices that shaped their world. Through performance, storytelling, and collaborative world-building, participants will explore how climate change intersects with identity, culture, power, and justice.
Working in groups, participants will create performances, imagine future communities, and build archives of what was saved, forgotten, and transformed. Rather than focusing on climate science, the workshop asks a different question: How do we use creativity to imagine and influence the futures we want to live in?
By the end of the session, participants will have developed a deeper understanding of intersectionality, experienced performance as a tool for creative activism, and generated ideas for using art to inspire climate action within their own communities.
