In the last few years, like many African countries, Kenya has been sold left, right, and center in the name of development. I created this piece in retaliation to that. Kenya’s loans from China are something that future generations will struggle to pay off—if we’re lucky. If not, we’ll continue taking these loans until this modern-day form of slavery consumes us.
